Results of the Xmas TT 2008

We had a big adventure this year for the Xmas TT as we ran time trials at 7 of the tracks that make up the SL Racing Association with an epic 6.5 hour race day.

When the dust cleared and all the points were tallied, Jafo Tendaze was on top beating out Ram Pharaoh's strong challenge by a single point. Caz Freschi also had a strong run, mostly in the car races, to finish 3rd over all.

Round 1, Mooz International.

We kicked off at Mooz with a superbike round which 2wheel Magic won with a stunning lap 1 second faster then anyone else relegating Jafo to second and Crippy Oh to 3rd.

Round 2, Racers Island.

Next it was off to race RD Lotus cars at Eddie Mathieson's Racers Island complex. Local boy Remon Franizzi had the pace and laid the beats down to secure the win over Scottie Easterman in second and Rattra Raymaker in 3rd.

Round 3, Amber Speedway

It was back to superbikes as we visited Tes Tiramisu's Amber Speedway at the Vixen Isles. This time we ran Bikey Bekkers Nemisis bike with Yuriko Nishi beating out Jafo and Scottie Easterman for the win.

Round 4, SMC

We hit the high banks of Silver Motor Complex hosted by Barry Rinkitink and CarlyAnne Rainbow for round 4. Sueneko Paine was unbeatable in the roadster cars beating out Jafo and Ram for the home track win.

Round 5, Kokopelli

Next up we paid a visit to Greg Drayman's new tri oval Kokopelli for some stock car fun. Caz Freschi was on fire and beat out Remon Franizzi and Crippy Oh by a few thousands of a second to take the win.

Round 6, Otway

Suku Ming and Toby Rainbow of the DWRL provided a nice mixer as we used off road buggies and lapped their dirt track complete with jumps, whoops and berms. This round was a lot of fun with pro racer Suzy Cuddihy finishing on top keeping Caz in second and Ram in third.

Round 7, Misp

Misp closed the event with a laid back scooter race around the crazy ground track there. Old misp almost busted a lung with all the people there, however the smiles were huge and the laughing infectious as Ramesses wheelied his scooter across the line to win the final round just ahead of late comer Stang Voom.
